RUPRAH LEGAL CHAMBERS (RLC) began its journey in 1953 with Late Shri Hari Singh Ruprah Senior Advocate who started practicing in 1953 in the District Courts of Jabalpur. The High Court of M.P. was established in 1956 in Jabalpur and since then, he started practicing in High Court as well.
The office of Shri Hari Singh Ruprah has produced great lawyers over the past half a century including Shri Trilochan Singh Ruprah Sr. Adv. who has been President of High Court Bar Association, High Court Advocates Bar Association, and Senior Advocate Association. After his initial years of practice, Shri Trilochan Singh separated from the office and is having a very good standing independent of the lineage of Ruprah Legal Chambers.
Next in line was the dynamic and young, as he then was, Shri Narinderpal Singh Ruprah Adv. and his wife Mrs. Amrit Kaur Ruprah Adv. who joined the profession in 1984 and 1986 respectively. Mrs. Ruprah has been managing the affairs of the Chambers since 1999 to date. Some notable figures later to join the profession are Bhavdeep Singh Adv. and Navtej Singh Ruprah Adv.
